Workout Wear Trends

If you have aspirations to workout more perhaps a new outfit (or two) will help you stay motivated. Here are a few of the trends I’m seeing @Mallofamerica as seen on @JasonShowTv:

Tory Sport has a really cool runners vest. It features a hood plus it’s rain and wind resistant. I also the love the reflective panel in the front, it will help with visibility in low light areas. The chevron pants are a customer favorite season after season, they have two pockets and women rave about how they stay in place so you’re not always pulling them up!

Nike has great sports bras with attention to detail like wireless support and straps that help increase your mobility. These capri leggings with mesh panels are trending, plus they wick away the moisture to help keep you dry and cool. The Nike sneakers are really nice, amongst other great features they provide great stability if you’re lifting weights.

The grey sweatshirt in the cover photo is also from Nike. It offers a classic front, however a party in the back with the cut out design that reveals your racer back straps. It’s cute! You can avail ac repair in coral springs fl to still be cool even when working out. Don’t forget the importance of air conditioning maintenance for optimal performance and longevity. For any household needs, such as toilet installation seattle wa, it’s crucial to ensure proper installation and maintenance for lasting functionality and comfort. You may also consider getting services from AC Repair Greenwood in to maintain comfort inside and have a good-running unit.. And if you have plumbing issues like whistle noise from toilet, make sure to contact a plumber. Hire the best plumbing contractor Seattle WA who can provide exceptional service.

Under Armour has awesome performance athletic wear including this shirt that fits like second skin without being tight. I like the port holes too so you can conviently listen to your tunes. Leggings are also trending for guys and his shoes only weigh ten ounces plus they connect to your apps and fit bands!

Athleta is a great place to shop for yoga wear and much more. This top has the “unstinkable” technology so you can work up a good sweat and not have to wash it as much. 😊 The tights have a myriad of colors so it mixes and matches with a variety of tops.

Old Navy is a great stop for fitness wear too. They offer bright colors, (like this orange top) and neutrals. This shirt features side panels for ventilation and his joggers with contrasting side panels will escort from the gym to athleisure street style. The sneakers are from DSW, another great hot spot for discounts on brand names.

Pantone Color Of The Year

Incorporate Pantone color of the year into your wardrobe!

With Accessories! (Or with your apparel.)

In small doses (see the Pom Pom colors.)

With shorts and shoes (have fun with mixing prints.)

You don’t have to wait until Spring time – try a sweater in this versatile color.

CLOSET FULL OF CLOTHES AND NOTHING TO WEAR?

It may be time for a closet audit. Retailers take inventory to assess their current situation and we should too.

Closet Audit Tips:

Step A.

Place your clothing into 3 piles:

1. Clothes you love, feel confident in, and wear it all the time

2. Clothes you haven’t worn or they don’t feel like you right now

3. This is the pile of clothes that you will wear, however you either need to send it to alterations or you don’t have something to go with it. (If you don’t have the item you need to go with it write that item down on a shopping list.)

Step B.

Put the 1’s back in your closet.

Give the 2’s away, consign, Clothes Mentor, etc.

Put the 3’s in the back of your closet or another storage area (until you find the missing pieces to go with it.)

Step C.

Style the 1’s in your closet. Do you have the right shoes, accessories and outerwear to make that outfit feel stylish – if not put those needed items on your shopping list.

If you need help with this step don’t forget about my Shop Your Own Closet service. (http://sararogers.com/women/shop-your-own-closet/) It’s listed as a three hour service on my website, however I’ve been working with girls that only want two hours and we’ve accomplished quite a bit during that time. One of my testimonials stated, “Thanks so much for your help – I have 50+ new outfits! She also followed up with this, “I am getting so many compliments and you get at least 80% of the credit!” 😊

How To Wear Ankle Boots

If you ever wonder what the guidelines are for wearing ankle boots; check out this video on Kare 11 TV.

Flat and heel ankle boots can look great with denim. A sliver of skin showing between the jeans and the boots is one of my favorite looks. You can also tuck skinny jeans or jeggings into your boots, as long as they don’t bunch up.

If your jeans are boyfriend style consider tucking them under your jeans. Cuffing your jeans works too, just keep in mind it may shorten your leg line.

Wide leg pants are in the fashion spotlight. For an elongated leg line wear them with pointy or open toes. Be sure to match your heel height to the length of the pant, you don’t want them dragging on the floor. Real Simple Magazine recommends one half inch from the ground.

I’ve heard some girls say, “wide leg pants only look good with heels.” While they certainly look great with heels – they’re not the only option. I also like them with pointy toe flats, peep toe shoes, (or booties) sleek sneakers, and T-strap sandals.

If you’re looking to elongate your leg line consider matching the color of your shoe to your hemline. (A nude boot color works too.)

Midi length skirts look great with ankle boots, yet I suggest looking for one with a flattering shaft height.

Personally when I’m wearing skirts and dresses I like my shaft height to be five inches minimum and I prefer six inches. (I’m 5’8″ with a short torso and long legs for my height, I can barely see over the steering wheel but that’s another story.)

You most likely won’t like how your legs look if the ankle boot cuts you off at the widest part of your calf. I recommend trying boots on while you’re wearing a skirt so you can visually see how flattering they are. Consider a “V” cut in the vamp area or a nude color ankle boot for a softer leg line.

When you’re wearing an elegant or refined dress make sure your ankle boot compliments the vibe. I wear the block style heel when I’m wearing an A-line skirt or dress, and stiletto inspired heels with sheath dresses.

I tend to wear my smooth leather boots with bare legs. In the colder months I’m a huge fan of suede because it transitions from day to evening with the greatest of ease and I also love the clean lines suede has with opaque tights – it’s almost seamless.

Suede is a luxe fabric so you do have to care for it. Some boots come pre-treated, however if they aren’t previously treated it’s a good idea to invest in spray protection and apply it yourself. 😊

Update Your Fall/Winter 2016 Wardrobe: Tops

Statement sleeves are one of the hottest trends. If you’re looking for an instant update to your existing wardrobe look for sweaters, blouses and shirts with sleeve interest. (You’ll also find this of the moment detail on dresses.)
