Dressing for the royal wedding is steep in tradition. Guests should dress conservative yet honor the occasion by dressing for the venue, time of day, and any written dress code guidelines stated in the invitation.

A dress and a hat. Avoid wearing white, however a dress with a white base in a print or pattern is fine.

Don’t wear black, (this dress is navy) however a black jacket with a bright or patterned dress underneath is acceptable.

If you don’t want to break from tradition wear closed toe shoes and nylons or tights especially in the presence of the queen.

Cover your shoulders when entering the church and the length of your dress should be at or below the knee.
